Dehazers
Remove residual water from refined fuels
Residual water in refined hydrocarbon fuels can be seen as a “haze,” even at levels less than 0.5 percent by weight. Water in fuel can degrade engine performance.
We offer dehazers for gas oil, diesel and fuels.
Conductivity improvers
These additives improve conductivity of the fuel, permitting electrostatic build-up to safely dissipate without generating a spark
We offer conductivity improvers for gas oil, diesel and jet fuels.
CFPP
In ice cold weathers waxy paraffins in distillate fuels start to crystallize. As the crystals enlarge, the resulting particles can plug a fuel filter, starving an engine of fuel. To improve “cold flow” fuel performance Cargo Treatment Services offer additives that:
Lower the temperature at which heavy paraffins begin to form crystals
Co-crystallize with the heavy paraffins to promote formation of small, independent crystals that remain fluid and can pass through a filter
Additives from our product line can help ensure that your fuel products perform as designed in cold weather.
Cetane improvers
Cetane improvers modify combustion in the engine. They encourage early and uniform ignition of the fuel. They discourage premature combustion and excessive rate of pressure increase in the combustion cycle.
Cetane number is a measure of the ignition quality of diesel fuel; it is not a measure of fuel quality.
We offer cetane improvers for gas oil, diesel and biodiesel.
Bactericides
Microorganisms in fuel systems can degrade fuel colour and clarity and cause corrosion that damages tanks and pipes, plugs filter systems, and creates odours. Anaerobic organisms are particularly troublesome because they liberate corrosive, foul-smelling hydrogen sulphide.
We offer biocide products for gasoline, gasoil and biodiesel that kill or inhibit microbe growth in fuel tanks or distribution lines, control microorganisms to ensure fuel quality.
Ash Reduction
Ash Reduction additives are used to prevent fouling in combustion chambers and burners which will reduce maintenance of equipment and make combustion more efficient.
Antioxidants
Our fuel stability improvers retard or prevent deterioration in gasoline and middle distillate fuels or diesel. These additives block the oxidation or polymerization reactions of cracked hydrocarbon molecules. Increase fuel system resistance to oxidation and extend storage life.
